Stone Pro Inc., 7447 Partridge Road, Eau Claire, WI 54703 is seeking 10 temporary, full-time construction laborers to work at 818 W Main Street, Sun Prairie, WI 93590 and in Dane county and Madison, WI metropolitan statistical area in Wisconsin from 04/01/2025 to 12/20/2025 for $25.40/hour. May be offered higher wage due to experience/merit. Approx. 40 hours/week, Mon.-Fri., with Saturday work as needed. Hours are 7:00AM-3:00PM, with up to 15 hours of overtime which may be available but is not guaranteed. Overtime rate is $38.10 The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due & pay biweekly by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. Duties include: Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as asphalt. Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools. Measure site where construction work will be performed. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes. Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones. Assist in smoothing or finishing freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures. Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, or masons. Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection. Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces, such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring, using abrasive tools or machines. Place, consolidate, or protect cast-in-place concrete or masonry structures. Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers. Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement. Apply caulking compounds by hand or caulking guns to protect against entry of water or air. Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds 20 yards. No prior education or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker. The worker will be reimbursed for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, in the first workweek at a rate of a minimum of $15.88 per day to a maximum of $59.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. The employer will provide or pay for the worker's cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed before 12/20/2025. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned. Daily transportation to and from the worksite will be provided. The employer will provide housing as an option to the employees. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $116.00 deducted per biweekly paycheck for rent &utilities. Employer will deduct the reasonable cost of damages &/or replacement of tools &/or equipment if such repair or replacement results from willful neglect or gross negligence of the employee.
