Stone Pro Inc., 7447 Partridge Road, Eau Claire, WI, 54701 is seeking 20 temporary, full-time snow removal laborers to work at 414 West Washington, Madison, WI, and Eau Claire, Dunn and Chippewa counties from 10/01/2025 to 04/01/2026 for $24.11/hour. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. Duties: The employee will remove snow by shoveling and plowing snow from walkways, sidewalks, driveways or parking lots. Spread salt on cleared areas to ensure ice melting. The employee will use snow shovels and snow brooms to push and move snow away from walking and driving areas. Operate skid steers with attachments such as plows and pushers to push snow. Use snow blowers. Operate pickup trucks with snow plow attachment. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. No prior education or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker. Daily transportation to and from the worksite will be provided. Approximately 40 hours week, Monday-Sunday, depending on weather conditions, with two days off. Shift varies based on weather conditions. Overtime rate is $36.17. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due and pay biweekly by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. Employer will deduct reasonable cost of damages/replacement of tools/equipment/lodging/vehicles if such repair/replacement results from willful neglect/gross negligence of employee. The employer will provide housing as an option to the employees. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $116.00 deducted per biweekly paycheck for rent and utilities. The worker will be reimbursed for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, in the first workweek at a rate of a minimum of $16.28 per day to a maximum of $68.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. The employer will provide or pay for the worker's cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed before 04/01/2026. The employer will provide transportation to and from the worksite. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
